In the Philippines, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is the primary governing body for workplace safety.

• RA 11058 & DOLE Department Order 198-18: This law mandates that every employer "shall provide a place of employment which is free from hazardous conditions." Racking systems are classified under "Workplace Layout" and "Materials Handling," requiring regular hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRAC).
• Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS): Rule 1150 (Materials Handling and Storage) specifically requires that all storage areas be kept free from materials that cause tripping, fires, or explosions, and that storage racks must be stable and capable of supporting the loads placed upon them.
• Annual Technical Inspections: DOLE requires annual spot audits. Having a third-party certification from Safety Imperium serves as documented proof of your "Duty of Care" during these inspections.
